We accept Medicare and most major commercial insurance plans. 

Realize it is your responsibility to call your insurer to confirm they will cover your visit at our office. Please keep a record of this conversation in case the insurer later declines the claim as out of network. You will be 100% responsible for the claim if you are out of network. This documentation might be useful to fight with your insurer. Note that this isn't something we're allowed by the insurer to do on your behalf, it's your responsibility.

We are not in network for the following plans:

  • Medicaid
  • Duke affiliated plans as a primary insurance (we do accept Duke plans as secondary to Medicare)
  • Cigna WakeMed/Duke plans 
  • Tricare as a primary plan
  • Blue Home
  • United Healthcare Lowes affliated plan
  • Cigna Connect
  • Blue Gold
  • Workman's comp claims

Photo ID and insurance cards are REQUIRED at your first visit and any time your insurance changes. We will have to reschedule your appointment if you forget these items or will be happy to treat you as a self pay patient. Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian for the first visit and the guardian must bring photo id along with an insurance card for the minor.

We are happy to serve any client as self pay with a discount similar to insurance plan discounts.
